MY HOMETOWN


Everyone has their own hometown,including me. I come from Ampangan,Seremban Negeri Sembilan. That is my hometown. I live there since i was born and till now i am still living there with my family. There are a lots of special moment and special things at my hometown. For an example,there is a special restaurant,and the name of the restaurant is Charlie tom Yam. Almost every resident here know this famous restaurant here. I had try this restaurant for few times. Other than that is my village. I have lots of friend here. We grew up together and we had alot of fun.

My idol in my life is my mother. I love her very much because she’s a caring person to me. She also take care of my family. She’s my best friend who is always at my side when I’m happy and sad. She teaching me what Al-quran and As-Sunnah in our life..What that importent two this reference in our life?. Who prophet Muhammad S.A.W in our life?. The important thing is I love my idol so much because she’s very special and my motivation. Now, I studying at ukm..Everyday, at night before i’m study I call my mother “ibu” for minutes.. I love my mother!

Last week I went back to my brother home in Sungai Buloh, Selangor. Although I have many assignment to be completed, but I manage to go back to my brother home. I very miss to meet my niece this today. My brother has 4 children. They are three boy and 1 girl. I very love they all. They are very clever and active. I love they like I love my child is own.

My opinion this subject is I hope this foundation still go on after next semester to all of student have wake on English subject. It can help and teach them the way how to improve English.Be more confident and also know how to use what type of grammer and tense when we speak or writng...So after that we are not to shy or afraid to speak when foreigner ask something such as road direction,and so on.

What I like about English is important language. English langguage have grammer , many type of tanses and so on. We can use in daily speaking although broken langguage. Before this, I dislike English subject since primary school because my English teacher have did something I hate English. It is he throwing lime to me in classroom. It is because I not interested to learn English with him because he is too strict..so I was shy and from that time I was slowdown learn English language. But now I like English after I took foundation class may be because I have two good teachers.

My idol is Habibah A Rashid. She is my mother. She is a very good person in this world. She’s like cook and always my hometown have ceremony especially weeding ceremony my mother can cook for them. But I think my cook not enough delicious same with her. She also always prays for her children because I believe all of time my bless ‘doa’ from my mother always protect me and my siblings. Example when I forgot to call my mom when I do something important always that things can not good or something bad can happened. so I always prays my Lord to protect my mother and bless her always amin….

Last weekend,my friends and I went to North Peninsular of Malaysia.It is Penang,Kedah and Perlis..I brought them to go there for visit around there.We did not plan it,just talking about Visit Malaysia.After that,my friend,his name Rozairee tell us,let’s go to there,at that time,we surprised what rozairee said,during rozairee was talking,we was happy.And then,I took my car beside my friends cooking the food for bring in our journies,we want to save money and also we do not have a lot money..At 2.00 a.m on the dot,we began our journey by car,I alone driver along our journey.The next day,on the tomorrow at 9 a.m,we arrived at Penang.The first place I bought them is Mengkuang Dam,Bukit Mertajam.We rest there and we have breakfast.We ate own food that we were cook at the college.We took one hour and twenty minutes for rest there.After that,we continue our journey to go to Kedah,Exactly 11.30 a.m,we arrived to Kedah namely at Merdeka Bridge in Tikam Batu around and we also arrived in Alor Star at1.00 p.m..My friends said to me,they are first time see paddy field.They are very-very interesting.All of a sudden,I has been received a massage from old my friend,he invited me so that come to his house for the marry feast, so we went to his house at Jitra,coincidentally we got free eat.After that about 2.00p.m,we continuing to go to Perlis.We went to Kangar town,and went to Gua Kelam or known Cave of Darkness at 3.30 p.m..There we visit,come in cave and we bathe waterfall that provided there.We was there as long as 2 hours.After that I bought them go to Bukit Kayu Hitam or Malaysia Border among Thailand and Malaysia.We bought variety of commodity,it is very easy,moreover free duty complex and it is knock-down.At 7.00 pm on time,we started to back to Universiti Kebangsaan Malaysia(UKM).On the way back we stopped/visited something places,Sultan Abdul Halim Airport,Alor Star,Gurun,Penang Island again and also Sungai Perak.After that we not-stopping back.And we arrived at UKM at 10.30 a.m..You all know along of our journey,we did not use highway just use main road without from Bandar Baru Bangi to Slim River and others we used main road.We got save money.We have planed after finishing examination we will be going to Kelantan and Terengganu(East Peninsular of Malysia).God Willing….

If I were given a chance to change anything about myself, I would like to change my life from lazy to diligent.Because before this,I am very lazy such as lazy to reading book,lazy to revision and more.So right now,I want to change my attitude to better.My previous attitude is lazy,during in the University,I always get out of university to go to anywhere,I also often go out at the night to watch football until Subuh,so after that,I’m tired and miss the class.This thing are often occur everyday.So begin now,I don’t want to repeat it,and I would like to change my life from time to time.God Willing.

When I was small I was afraid of storm.My hometown near sea.Since 2000,I year 5,many big storms until my villager afraid.Before this,it is not appears but after that,it appears every day and every time.My friend and I was afraid to look for see food like fish and others.The very highest afraid is during the night time,I did not brave to sleep,I always remember it.My father said to me,you have to relax and my mother says like that.They are not afraid,moreover 2 month ago from that,nex behind of my village was flood,it is due tue big storm.I so afraid because my village will become something like that.Second day I did not brave sleep at my home,I went to mosque and I slept there.I slept only for 3 nights,because my father does not give me sleep there,so next night I slept at my home..I am very-very afraid during I want to sleep.2 weeks later,it is does not appears,after that normal storm.Thank God..

As we know,everybody have their own idol or hero in their life.By hook or by crook have a special person or known idol at least one person in their life.I also have a idol,my idol is Thery Henry,he is football player.He from Franc.He is France football player.Now he played at Barcelona which is one of the famous club in Spanish League. Before he goes to Spanish League,he was played at English Primier League,Arsenal. Coincidentally,he was best player in the world on 2002.Why I said he is my idol because I have a best something to tell you all,He is Islamic Football Player.His personality is simple person,I am never see him proudly.Last Month,his club won on Manchester United 2-0 at the champion league Final,Rome.With that,Barcelona FC was good club in the world.

I am student,this semester I am taking Foundation English.I am study at Faculty of Bussines Study.Foundation English is one of subjects that student should take before graduate.In my opinion about Foundation English,this subject is good subject,it is can help student to improve English language from time to time.It is also teach us about English grammar,moreover its book using the low level words and easy to understand.Is God Willing with this subject can increase our English from low to clever.An other than that,it is teach us how to pronunciation the words.Lastly, I think it is very suitable for me and can improve in my English studies from time to time.

My name is Murshid Alamin Bin Yussof.I have a lot friends among both,boy and girl.For me all my friends are good friend.But in all my friends I have a people who is best friend in my life.His name Saiful Azmi,he is simple person,relax in action.I like friend with him.Why I said he is my best friend because he always help me during I difficulty like have a financial problem and whatever problem,he is first friend who take care of my problem and he solved all of my problem.Beside that,during the primary school form 1 until form 6 we are same class.He also always follow me go to anywhere.During the rest time we are together to go to canteen.He talked to me whatever problem do you have,please be inform to me.Easy talking we are same personality,i often help him during he have problem in whatever problem.But unlikely now,he studying at others University namely at University Utara Malaysia.Although we others place,he often contact me,at least twice per month.Thank God because I got him as my best friend.

I live at Kampung Padang Watt,mukim lepai,Alor Star,Kedah Darul Aman.My hometown is village no urban.From Alor Setar to my hometown nearlier about 12 kilometres.It is also near an airport Alor Star,its location name Kepala Batas,just about 10 kilometres from my hometown.According to map,we can see around the Alor Star city and very easy to find it.There(my hometown) are many villages around it,behind(right) of my village known Kampung Masjid Lama and behind(left) of my village known Kampung Kubang Lintah.All that villages located in Lepai area.As we all know my village are famous around here.When mention it or talk about it,most of people were knew about it.For information the first famous village in Lepai area is Kampung Padang Watt(my village),second Kampung Kubang Lintah and third is Kampung Masjid Lama.At my village have a lot activities,the famously of activities is playing football among youth,secondly is society activity such as helping during the feast,cleaning of village or musolla and others something like that.

My name is Mohd Murshid Alamin Bin Yussof. About my name,my parents gave my name,they were discuss what name should be give to me,they took 3 days for discussing it. Lastly,my mother got something name for me is AL-Amin,after that my father asked my mother “why did u choose that name,what its means..?,after that my mother explained about it,he said that Amin is mean believed or trust person like nickname of prophet Muhammad S.A.W..And then my father heard one by one from explain my mother and he totally agree with my mother’s opinion but at the same time my father also got new name is Mohd Murshid,then my mother said to my father,that is good name,no need to find its name because when hear it…oh..it’s nice name.

Coincidentally with that,my mother said we should be combine it so that become a complete name.So my mother asked to my father,which one first,Alamin or Mohd Murshid..?,then my father made a decision that Mohd Murshid first and Alamin second.So my name is Mohd Murshid Alamin,that is my name. For now,my friends call me Murshid,but my parent and my younger brother call me abang because i’m eldest. For complete means of my name,i didn’t get to look for it,whatever about my name have relevant in Islamic terminology.

In a nutshell,i feel my name is suitable fo me.think here for my talking so you all can call me Murshid.

My opinion about English foundation is the program is important to improve skills to get a basic lesson about English. It also a first step in able to mastering the language. I enjoyed attending the foundation class. With good teaching techniques and lessons by Madam Fauza and Madam Michi, now my English language is improve. I also have new friends from the other faculties.

Last week I went back to my hometown in Kota Bharu, Kelantan. Return to my sweet home for three days. When I reached there, I do a lot of activities such as, I helped my mom to clean out the rubbish behind my house, feed the chickens and birds, helping my mom cook and I did many more activities when I was at home. I really enjoyed the moment when staying at home.
